PlantARE Philosophy

The philosophy of PlantARE and its success is largely based on its many years of product development as well as a fruitful exchange of ideas with its users. This has led to the development of an open, flexible and safe system with a focus on default but adjustable data structure.

The concept of the program‘s development considers both the creativity of the planner, as well as the importance of a convincing graphic presentation. Automatisms are meaningfully integrated as the demand still exists, that the user has control of all the planning phases. Therefore, PlantARE‘s philosophy provides all planners and designers an instrument to hand which offers maximum functional and presentational liberty.

PlantARE’s Planting Plan module stands in constant, interactive connection to Europe‘s most successful, commercially used plant database PLANTUS which is available in two editions: PLANTUS North (Northern Hemisphere) and PLANTUS South (Southern Hemisphere), each with a database of around 8,000 plants and 5,000 photos. These two editions can also be combined to form PLANTUS “World”. PLANTUS is also extendable to fit your own needs.

PLANTUS

This connection concerns not only the plant selection, rather, provides access to all functions and data contained in PLANTUS.
