The philosophy of PlantARE and its success is largely based on its many years of product development as well as a fruitful exchange of ideas with its users. This has led to the development of an open, flexible and safe system with a focus on default but adjustable data structure. The concept of the program‘s development considers both the creativity of the planner, as well as the importance of a convincing graphic presentation. Automatisms are meaningfully integrated as the demand still exists, that the user has control of all the planning phases. Therefore, PlantARE‘s philosophy provides all planners and designers an instrument to hand which offers maximum functional and presentational liberty.
You will find PlantARE a high quality, economic and efficient technical application which is easy to learn and simple to use.
It consists of three modules:BASE MODULEThe base module serves to support and administrate all functions of the planting plan and design modules. Features include:
DESIGN MODULEThe design module provides helpful tools for the technical construction and realisation of individual plan graphics, as well as the simplification of normally complex design processes. Features include:
PLANTING PLAN MODULEThe Planting Plan module contains professional tools for the creation and editing of every type of planting plan. Features include:
PLANTUS
PlantARE’s Planting Plan module stands in constant, interactive connection to Europe‘s most successful, commercially used plant database PLANTUS which is available in two editions: PLANTUS North (Northern Hemisphere) and PLANTUS South (Southern Hemisphere), each with a database of around 8,000 plants and 5,000 photos. These two editions can also be combined to form PLANTUS “World”. PLANTUS is also extendable to fit your own needs.
This connection concerns not only the plant selection, rather, provides access to all functions and data contained in PLANTUS. Version 2010PlantARE is an AutoCAD application, the minimum system requirements are therefore based on thosed required for AutoCAD. It is important to note though that as PlanARE is also used to create, large project detailled plans, therefore it is highly recommended that your system contains more than just the minimum requirements.
